Preparing to Make Web Hosting Transfer

We can transfer your hosting account for you. Your old host must be cPanel. We will transfer your hosting account from your previous hosting provider to your new hosting account with our service. This includes website content and databases. It does not include any email, web stats or special server-based services.

Once you are signed up with one of our hosting plans, please fill out the following transfer request form and we will be happy to transfer your website for you.

Web Hosting Account Transfer Steps

1. Purchase the hosting plan you intend to move to with 4TopHost and note ‘Transfer request’ in the ‘Notes/Additional Information’ message box during checkout and we will provide you with a transfer request form.
2. Create a backup of your website along with all of your data to your personal computer. Please be sure to leave your account active with your previous hosting provider until your account transfer is completed and the domain is pointed to our services.
3. Fill out the account transfer request form and submit to us, at which point we will transfer your data to your new hosting plan. Please include all your account details with your previous provider as much as possible.
4. Verify the account has been transferred correctly and website is working properly.
5. Change nameservers of your website to point to the new hosting plan.
6. Cancel the hosting plan you moved from at your old hosting company.
